The 4th Annual Paint the Mountain Pink day benefits the Hope for Strength Breast Cancer Fund
(East Stroudsburg) For the fourth year, Paint the Mountain Pink breast cancer event is being held at Shawnee Mountain Ski Area. It is being held Saturday, February 4, 2017, starting at 9:00 a.m. “We are so grateful to have Shawnee Mountain’s support. Together we can increase awareness of cancer prevention and raise funds for patient needs. This year the grand raffle prize is a Ski & Stay package from Killington Mountain Lodge, Killington, Vermont. Tickets are $10.00 each. The drawing will be held at 4:00 p.m. and the winner does not need to be present to win. The first 200 lift ticket purchasers will receive a FREE bandana compliments of Shawnee Mountain Ski Area.
The purpose of the Fund is to minimize the financial and emotional impact of breast cancer diagnoses and treatment. The Hope for Strength Breast Cancer Fund will provide up to $500 to both male and female breast cancer patients of the Dale and Frances Hughes Cancer Center for basic living expenses.
